Government Cove Engagement Session | Scott + Brianna

Scott and Brianna’s Government Cove engagement session took place on one of the hottest days of the summer — 95 degrees and full sun. We even had to take a mid-shoot AC break in the car to cool off, but these two absolutely crushed it. You’d never know it was scorching out by the way they showed up with full energy and constant smiles.

We explored the scenic cliffs and Columbia River views that make Government Cove such a stunning backdrop for Oregon engagement photos. The light, landscape, and their connection made for such a fun, relaxed shoot.

What made this session extra special is that Scott and Brianna are both from my hometown — Juneau, Alaska. They’re the kind of people who instantly make you feel comfortable, like a life long friend, and it was such a joy to photograph this moment in their story. I’m already counting down to their wedding this October!
